Under the direction of Head Coach Shelley Winters and Assistant Coach Curt Martin the Lynx have quickly built a fun and winning tradition. Since their arrival, the women's team has won over 70% of their games. The Lynx tough-nosed defense and quick tempo of play has paid dividends as they captured conference titles in 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007, participated in five USCAA National Tournaments, and garnered a growing fan base. Over the last six seasons several Lynx have received national and regional awards for their contributions. NHTI has produced 7 USCAA All-Americans including Melissa Gravilla (Andover, NH), Katherine Little (Concord, NH), Lauren Daniels (Concord, NH) and Jen Roy (Manchester, NH). NHTI has also produced USCAA Academic All-Americans including Liz Samson (Lancaster, NH), Allison Hickey (Groveton, NH) and Christen Peak (New Boston, NH). |
The Lynx are coming off another tremendous season, finishing up with a 19-10 overall record and earned a birth in the YSCC final four championship. Several players earned post season award's including Jen Roy (Manchester), Cathie Murphy (Bradford), and Sarah McKeen (Dunbarton). The team will look to keep up the recent success in the 2008-2009 season. | |
